About Us
Systemic Family Therapy Association-Kenya (SFTAK) is a professional membership organization for marriage and family therapy practitioners and students.
SFTAK serves members practicing in all areas of mental health, including academia, community mental health centers, private practice, managed care and social service organizations.
SFTAK strives to maintain the professional standards of MFT by championing the unique systemic framework in clinical practices, innovation and research.
Through the development and improvement of marital and family therapy techniques, SFTAK is committed to improving the wellbeing of both individuals and families. SFTAK is dedicated to educating the public about MFTs and the services they offer.
We strive to make sure that MFTs are a crucial component of the developing healthcare system through our advocacy efforts.

Sarah Ayana Birregah is a second-year student pursuing a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, where she also graduated as a peer counselor.
