Alice Kamundi, MFT


Alice is a Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Maend Psychological Consultancy and Psychometric services. Her educational and professional background has afforded her the experience of working with a vast array of clientele and has allowed her to recognize the importance of flexibility and adaptability as a therapist. Alice began her educational experience pursuing her goal of working as a psychologist, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

She then proceeded to work in organizational based programs supporting staff mental health. Thereafter, she worked in a school setting with children, adolescents and teachers, where she obtained further experience in her field. Alice went on to obtain her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Minor in Family Violence and Trauma. Alice uses systemic based theories from a collaborative, strengths-based approach, assisting and supporting clients to be the author of their own lives.

Alice has been exposed to a wide range of clientele with her expertise, passion and enthusiasm best seen when working with clients therapeutically. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals, couples, family, children and refugees with major focus on domestic violence recovery, complex trauma, grief anxiety, relational challenges, stress reduction and work burn out prevention.

Alice enjoys travelling, a good time on the dance floor, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
